Feed Storage Bins
Chore-Time has been providing feed bins to the poultry industry since 1957 and led the way in updating its bin design to include features that provided solutions to common industry problems. Chore-Time’s Feed Bin today continues to feature the strength, quality, design and warranty backing that result in a bin you can count on for years of reliable service.Rain running down the bin’s sidewall is forced to drip off the HYDROSHIELD® and fall to the ground, eliminating water problems in the boot area.
SPRING-LOCK® Lid offers the benefit of a lid with a positive, spring-aided closing action that resists wind and helps keep snow and rain out. It is easy to open with one hand and slides down the roof out of the way of the feed truck’s auger. Remote access option provides added biosecurity.
More optional features are available, such as the shaker plate, the hopper access door and the feed load inventory systems.
Feeding Systems
Chore-Time’s proven feeding systems get birds off to a good start, minimizing wasted feed, and providing birds with consistent access to fresh feed. Chore-Time’s feeders are specially designed for pullets, broiler chickens, breeder hens, roosters, poults, turkeys, ducks, and other fowl.
The KONAVI® Feeder from Chore-Time lets beaks in but keeps feet out. With its low pan height and patented scalloped edge, chicks eat from the outside of the pan from day one. Its unique angled cone with anti-rake fins discourages birds from stepping into the pan and wasting feed.
Chore-Time control plates and application-specific power units turn on the feeder line when the feed level in the pans drops. The motors are sealed to prevent dust and are designed for the heavy cycle of broiler feeding systems.
Independent tests have shown that lower FCR can be achieved with KONAVI® feeder pans.

Drinking Systems
Chore-Time's broiler drinking systems feature a water metering system with all-stainless-steel parts in plastic STEADI-FLOW® in the flow control area for long-term supply of the expected flow rate. Field results and accelerated life cycle testing in laboratories demonstrate that the flow remains consistent year after year.

- Drinkers can be operated from 360°, helping young birds get off to a good start and making drinking easier.
- All parts resist corrosion and UV light-resistant grey PVC pipe blocks light to minimize algae growth.
- Mount-to-tube connector structure minimizes leakage using a special assembly process that does not require glue or O-rings.
- The rigid aluminum support channel also serves as a device to prevent them from getting into the nests.

Chore-Time’s galvanised air inlet has two smooth-operating, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel hinges. The linear lift for the air inlets allows for precise opening and closing for minimal ventilation of the house. It ensures smooth and reliable movement. The limit switch helps to prevent over-travel and potential for structural damage.
Chore-Time tunnel doors rotate air for better mixing throughout the farm. The cyclonic air movement generates desirable bird-level airflow throughout the house.

Heating Solutions
The SBM gas radiant heating solution for poultry is a high-performance system designed to provide efficient, targeted warmth directly to the birds using infrared radiation. Specialised Agricultural Lighting

The feed quantity can be accurately set with the 10-position feed level regulator. This prevents dominant behaviour and ensures more rest in the house and among the animals. Because the males eat from a trough, the feeding time takes longer, which result in the males eating calmer.
